F. Diane Barth, LCSW is in private practice in New York City where she treats adults and older adolescents, and runs study, supervision and distance consultation groups. Her articles have been published in a wide array of journals, including Clinical Social Work Journal, Psychoanalytic Dialogues, Psychoanalytic Psychology, International Journal of Eating Disorders, and Psychoanalytic Social Work. Her most recent books are Integrative Clinical Social Work Practice: A Contemporary Perspective (Springer) and I Know How You Feel: The Joys and Heartbreaks of Friendship in Women’s Lives (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt).
